We invite you to Cognac — a city where the refined spirit has become an art form. In the course of one day, you will discover the history of cognac production, learn how the aromas of noble eaux-de-vie are created, visit famous Houses, and taste rare blends aged for decades. This tour is the perfect combination of culture, gastronomy, and tastings.
Tour to Cognac. Example program:
- 09:00 — Departure from Bordeaux and scenic drive to the Cognac region.
- 10:30 — Tour of one of the renowned Cognac Houses. You’ll learn about the history of the spirit, the aging distinctions of VSOP and XO, and gain access to cellars storing the oldest eaux-de-vie.
- 12:45 — Lunch at a restaurant offering regional cuisine and wine-pairing gastronomy.
- 15:00 — Visit to a boutique producer with an artisanal approach and a private tasting led by the estate owner.
- 16:30 — Final tasting at a House with the prestigious 1er Cru appellation — the highest category in the Cognac classification.
- 18:00 — Return to Bordeaux.
