Seafood Gastronomy of Arcachon

A journey to Arcachon is an encounter with picturesque sea landscapes, cozy harbors, and the crown jewel of the coast — fresh oysters. You’ll climb the dune with a panoramic view, enjoy a walk along the shore, visit villages around the bay, and taste the finest seafood in the region. The program includes a visit to a château, tastings, lunch at a restaurant, and relaxing by the ocean.

  • 09:00 — Departure from the hotel.
  • 09:30 — Visit to a Grand Cru winery in the Graves region with a tasting of red and white wines.
  • 11:00 — Transfer to Arcachon.
  • 12:00 — Visit to an oyster farm. Introductory tour by a local farmer, tasting of fresh oysters right by the water, accompanied by wine and light seafood snacks. Option to order lunch with shrimp, shellfish, and white wine.
  • 14:30 — Walk along the seafront and through Arcachon’s historic districts.
  • 15:00 — Optional: private boat trip on the Arcachon Bay or a panoramic flight over the bay in a light aircraft.
  • 16:00 — Sightseeing tour of the town and its landmarks, including the "Winter City" and the promenade.
  • 16:45 — Ascent to the tallest dune in Europe — Dune of Pilat (114 m), with views of the Atlantic Ocean, pine forests, and the bay.
  • 19:30 — Dinner at one of the best restaurants in Arcachon.
  • 21:30 — Return to Bordeaux.
